    I have been told this is the regiment/company/stock number but not sure. Although trapdoor rifles were also produced, the 22-inch-barreled. IT does have a marking on the undersid of the stock that reads 6 F 52. It also sports the buffington rear sight and a one piece trigger gaurd.     The serial would indicate its among one of the last produced. Not sure if its correctly called a 1884 Trapdoor w/RRB or a M84.
